Coffee and Cake Morning - Saturday 29th March 2025

Join us to celebrate Village Halls Week 2025, this will be an opportunity to join the celebrations of 50 years since the opening of the new hall at Ellerdine and all the volunteers past and present who have helped to keep the hall thriving.

Bring along photos and share memories of the hall and past events.

Ellerdine Potato Growing Competition

Open to all ages to enter! £5 includes entry, a potato and a bucket.

Grow the heaviest crop of potatoes and WIN £50 CASH PRIZE! To be judged on Sunday 10th August.

Our big event that cannot be missed! We are planning a fun packed day with great attractions.

Tree Planting - Saturday 15th November 2025 at 1pm

Planting of 30 sapling trees on the Village Hall playing field in partnership with the Woodland Trust. Please contact us via our Facebook page to reserve a tree, to then plant yourself!

Soul and Motown Night - Saturday 22nd November at 7pm

Fancy a great affordable night out? Soul and Motown night with amazing singer and entertainer, Monty Scott!

Tickets available now from Cheri - 07450 455362. Only £10 each. Doors open 7pm, Show starts 8pm.

Community Christmas Tree Crafting - 27th & 29th November

Create decorations for the community christmas tree, to be displayed outside the Ellerdine Village Hall.

Materials and patterns provided. Visit Charlotte at the Village Hall on:

★ Thursday 27th November - 5pm to 7pm

★ Saturday 29th November - 10am to 12pm

Or make decorations at home - knitted, crocheted, felt or fabric star donations appreciated.

Ellerdine Christmas Fair - Sunday 7th December 1PM to 3PM

Visit Santa is his fabulous grotto for £4.00 gift included. Lots of lovely stalls for Christmas shopping. Raffle, Tombola, Refreshments.

'Light Up Ellerdine Village Hall' - Christmas lights switch on at 4PM

For stalls and further information contact Cheri - 07450 455362.

We need your help to provide tombola and raffle prizes such as soft toys, sweets, toiletries, bottles or jars of food or drink (in date). This is a great fundraiser and all proceeds go to Ellerdine village hall fund. Please drop off at the hall on the morning of the fair or contact Cheri for alternative drop off.
